At the age of 21, Tom was invited to perform at numerous venues around the country, such as a mic in hand, the Comedy Store, Horden Pavillion and the Brisbane Powerhouse. He also has been the feature act at the RAW Comedy finals and was part of the star-studded Young Blood Comedy Tours. Tom is also a favourite at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
In April 2009, Tom brought his debut solo show, “Tom Ballard Is What He Is” to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was the youngest person ever to take out the prestigious Best Newcomer award. Tom was also nominated for a Golden Gibbo Award in the same year.
From 2010-2014 Tom hosted triple j breakfast, where he picked up a cult following that continues to grow today.

Ray Badran has been a regular on the Australian club and festival circuit for the past 5 years. In this time Ray has honed his performance skills and material and is now considered at the forefront of a new generation of comedians who are both edgy and inventive. He is rapidly making a name for himself as one of the country’s finest comedian MC’s and his astute, observational style make him a hit with any audience.
In 2014 Ray was hand-selected by The Sydney Comedy Festival Directors to host the prestigious Breakout Comedy Tour which travels to Brisbane, Perth and Sydney and showcases the brightest emerging comedians in the country. He was also selected to perform for the Comedy Channel’s ‘Best of the Fest’.
2015 has seen Ray perform his solo show ‘Raised and Confused’ at the Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Sydney comedy festivals as well as his weekly segment ‘The Early Early News’ on Triple J radio.
With multiple television writing credits and mounting radio and television appearances Ray is widely regarded as one of the hottest rising stars of Australian comedy.
