Mathew Kenneally is one of Australia’s brightest young comedians. Mathew Kenneally’s stand-up career kicked off in Melbourne in 2006 when he appeared in Comedy Zone at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, a showcase of Australia’s most promising new comics.

At the 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival, Mat performed his debut solo show, Mathew Kenneally for Parliament?, winning the award for Most Outstanding Comedy at the Fringe. In November he toured the show to Canberra, performing for an extended season of eight sold-out shows.Mathew Kenneally’s comedy is satirical, topical, and dark, all delivered with a smile.

His comedy focuses on the big issues concerning society such as politics, terrorism, and getting drunk and talking to inanimate objects.

His life highlights include puking in Zac Braff's garden after a big night on the grog, spilling a drink on Ben Affleck, sharing a Pimms and Ginger Ale with the Prince of Wales and once being called "Mate" by Bill Clinton at a youth volunteer presentation in Chicago to which he was not invited.
