Rhys Nicholson doesn’t hold anything back. He’s young, bold and extremely talented. The only thing sharper than his wit is the perfectly styled red quiff that adorns his head.
In 2009, Rhys made the National final of Raw Comedy. By 2012, he had won a ‘Time Out’ best newcomer award, featured on the Comedy Channel’s ‘Balls of Steel’, starred in a popular web series ‘Calming Rhys Nicholson’ and Toured Australia with Fiona O’Loughlin. And if that’s not enough, he also stars in a feature film ‘Housos vs Authority’.
Even if you are easily shocked, you will be entertained.
Sam has been a Christmas tree farmer, a digital media specialist, an acoustic wedding singer and, for the past few years, a stand-up comedian.
He kick started his career in by making it to the finals for RAW Comedy and then was hand-picked for the Comedy Zone the following year. He also become a regular presenter for MTV Australia and NZ, toured across Australia and Asia with Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, and start paying back all the cash he owes his Mum.
Sam is one of the most exciting new voices in Australian comedy.
‘He’s a natural.’
