Dave Eastgate has gone from stunt shows to television shows, theatre to feature film and New York Comedy Clubs to the Sydney Opera House via the Tokyo Punk Scene and the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He is an overnight sensation, 14 years in the making.
Dave’s passion for performing began as a child growing up in Papua New Guinea where his father was stationed with the Australian Defence Force. The family moved to the Gold Coast when Dave was a teenager and he began honing his talent performing characters, stunts and music in the Queensland resort town’s famous theme parks, theatre restaurants and comedy clubs from the age of 16.
In 2001 at the age of 21 Dave headed to the oriental city of Osaka to performing at Universal Studios Japan, he made several television and radio appearances performing IN FLUENT JAPANESE!!! Then after a short stint street performing in the US, Canada and the UK Dave returned to Oz in ‘06 and blitzed the scene, touring around the country and supporting a number international acts including Robin Williams who described Dave’s act as “f*#%ing beautiful.”
Dave’s has done crowd warm up for every large scale Australian TV show and boasts a long list of satisfied corporate clients. He has appeared on the Emmy Award winning HBO series, “My Life on the D-List”, AFI winning “Review With Myles Barlow” and Logie winning “Sea Patrol”, not to mention numerous TV commercials worldwide.
Subby is a much sought after Radio Personality, raconteur, stand up comedian, TV pundit, writer and is an excellent MC for any situation.
As well as being an established broadcaster, Subby Valentine is one of Sydney’s most well respected MCs and headling comics. He has played this role successfully in venues ranging from large theatres and comedy clubs right down to the corporate boardrooms of well known Australian companies.
Subby is one of Sydney’s most experienced, versatile and successful comedians. Despite an extremely busy schedule, Subby has headlined at comedy festivals throughout Australia in addition to appearances in Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Edinburgh.
As a writer he has been a big contributor to many highly successful breakfast radio shows, performed and written for most of the Australian sketch comedies shows, sports shows and even hosted ‘The Mens Room’ on SBS.
