Matt Okine, began his career in 2004, at the age of 18 when he became a National finalist for Triple J’s Raw Comedy competition.
He then took out the Brisbane New Comic of the Year competition, in 2006 and performed on “Rove Live” which preceded his sell-out run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival (2008). He was then chosen to be part of NBC’s hit show, “Last Comic Standing” and since has supported the likes of Dave Chappelle and Aziz Ansari.
Matthew’s skills don’t lie solely in the world of comedy. He graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) and has appeared countless times on Australian Television, from Channel 7’s All Saints and Nickelodeon’s H20 to ABC2’s “I Rock”, and SBS’s “The Squiz”.
Early in 2014 Matt joined the Triple J breakfast team reinforcing the upward trajectory of his popularity.
In 2010, After being inspired by the caliber of comedy in Australia, Laura decided to venture into the world of Stand-Up
In 2011, she was a National finalists in RAW comedy and performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to a room of 1500 people.
In 2012, Laura was hand-picked as one of Australia’s best emerging comics as a part of ‘The Comedy Zone’ showcase for the MCIF.
In 2013, Laura brought her debut solo show ‘Welcome to Planet Earth’ to the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy festivals and received great reviews and sold out shows at both.
In 2014, After winning the US Green Card lottery, Laura now splits her time between LA and Sydney.
