Nick Sun is the the hardest comedian in the world to sum up on paper and it’s not until after you have seen him perform that you understand why.
In 2004 Nick won Triple J’s “Raw Comedy” competition and went on to win Edinburgh “So you think you’re funny” later that year. The Adelaide Advertiser has called him “Offensive, and Nihilistic” and The Age has described his style as “unhinged surrealism” and “self destructive”.
He has been invited to perform at Montreal’s prestigious “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival, won the Director’s Choice Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and also been banned from countless comedy venues around the world.
He is fiercely intelligent, deeply philosophic and often dark and offensive in exactly the right way. He is not for the faint of heart or mind. It’s impossible to view the world the same after seeing him perform.
Cameron James is an up-and-coming comedian and troublemaker.
Since placing second in 2012’s Raw Comedy Competition, Cameron has been working hard and non-stop with acting credits on ABC sketch show How Not To Behave and The Roast, multiple appearances on Triple J and two critically acclaimed touring shows. He has also sold out runs at Perth Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, Sydney Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival, Bondi Feast and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Cameron James is clearly a comedy talent with a big future. He thinks you should listen to music loud, never litter, and be good to your mother.
