Dave Eastgate & Chris Radburn
Dave Eastgate has gone from stunt shows to television shows, theatre to feature film and New York Comedy Clubs to the Sydney Opera House via the Tokyo Punk Scene and the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He is an overnight sensation, 14 years in the making.
Dave’s passion for performing began as a child growing up in Papua New Guinea where his father was stationed with the Australian Defence Force. The family moved to the Gold Coast when Dave was a teenager and he began honing his talent performing characters, stunts and music in the Queensland resort town’s famous theme parks, theatre restaurants and comedy clubs from the age of 16.
In 2001 at the age of 21 Dave headed to the oriental city of Osaka to performing at Universal Studios Japan, he made several television and radio appearances performing IN FLUENT JAPANESE!!! Then after a short stint street performing in the US, Canada and the UK Dave returned to Oz in ‘06 and blitzed the scene, touring around the country and supporting a number international acts including Robin Williams who described Dave’s act as “f*#%ing beautiful.”
Dave’s has done crowd warm up for every large scale Australian TV show and boasts a long list of satisfied corporate clients. He has appeared on the Emmy Award winning HBO series, “My Life on the D-List”, AFI winning “Review With Myles Barlow” and Logie winning “Sea Patrol”, not to mention numerous TV commercials worldwide.
Chris Radburn has not only entertained Australian audiences for over a dozen years but he has impressed audiences in New York, New Zealand, Malaysia, passengers on P&O Cruises and the Australian troops in the Solomon Islands, Egypt and Dubai. He certainly gets around with over 15 TV appearances including The NRL Footy Show, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, CNN International, Stand up Australia, Thursday Night Live, Getaway, Joker Poker and the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala.
Chris likes to keep busy. He was the co-host of 2GB’s ‘The Bounce’ for 2 years, has also toured with Weird Al Yankovic and Rob Schneider and if that’s not enough for you, he has released not 1 but 2 comedy DVD’s.
