With an infectious mix of irreverence and enthusiastic optimism, Kent Valentine is one of the most dynamic Australian comedians on the UK comedy scene. Back in 2003 along with Sam Bowring, Kent began a comedy room called a mic in hand before he ran away to London to get married in 2007.
He is a prolific writer and was a consistent feature at all the Australian festivals before moving to the UK and quickly become a regular at theirs. He has been a regular guest on Triple J’s breakfast show, toured Australia with the Comedy Festival Road show, been nominated for the Best Emerging Comedy in Adelaide Festival and selected for the Comedy Zone showcase. This list of accolades continues but it’s best just to see him in person.
Kent Valentine is a master raconteur.
