Dave Jory became a cult favourite on Triple J with a fake celebrity gossip segment (2006-2007) and then the brilliant segment called ‘I Love This Crowd’, where he performed listener’s jokes in a stand up club and played the recordings on-air.
In 2007, Dave was a finalist in Rove Live’s ‘Golden Nut Competition’, as well as being chosen as an Australian finalist for the popular NBC America program, ‘Last Comic Standing’. He has since appeared on television shows such as ‘The NRL Footy Show’, ‘Stand Up Australia’, ‘Joker Poker’, ‘Last Comic Standing’ and ‘The Mansion’ amongst others.
Dave is the author of the book, ‘I Know Everything’, which Hustler Magazine described as, ‘has the edge over Woody Allen’. He has also been a contributing writer for various magazines and TV shows, such as ‘The Glasshouse’ and ‘Stand Up Australia’.
Dave has worked with lots of great comics over the years, including being the opening act for Weird Al Yankovic, Arj Barker and Paulie Shore for their respective shows at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
He was voted one of Zoo Magazine’s ’10 Funniest Australian Comedians’, and is also an accomplished actor and writer. Dave’s stand-up act is relatable, light on profanity, and most of all, hilarious!
Subby is a much sought after Radio Personality, raconteur, stand up comedian, TV pundit, writer and is an excellent MC for any situation.
As well as being an established broadcaster, Subby Valentine is one of Sydney’s most well respected MCs and headling comics. He has played this role successfully in venues ranging from large theatres and comedy clubs right down to the corporate boardrooms of well known Australian companies.
Subby is one of Sydney’s most experienced, versatile and successful comedians. Despite an extremely busy schedule, Subby has headlined at comedy festivals throughout Australia in addition to appearances in Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Edinburgh.
As a writer he has been a big contributor to many highly successful breakfast radio shows, performed and written for most of the Australian sketch comedies shows, sports shows and even hosted ‘The Mens Room’ on SBS.
