Since American born American born comedian Tommy Dean moved here nearly 3 decades ago, he has occupied the top echelon of Australia’s comedy scene. Tommy’s astute, clean, observational comedic style consistently make him a stand out winner with audiences and fellow comics alike.
With super sharp banter, genial manner and vast stock of broad appeal hilarious routines interweaving the foibles of his adopted home country with the dark reality of his home country, Tommy never fails to connect with and impress any audience.

Beginning his career in Perth in 1999 as a national finalist in Raw Comedy competition, Gavin moved to Melbourne in 2000 and cut his comedy teeth performing at iconic comedy rooms alongside Australia’s top comedians.
He has written, produced and performed in ten Melbourne International Comedy Festivals and has been a featured performer in five Hobart Comedy Festivals.
Gavin has also appeared on Channel 10’s 7PM Project and The Comedy Channel’s Stand-Up Australia, has performed around Australia and overseas, featured in a number of TV commercials and has been a regular guest on ABC radio and 7HOFM in Hobart. He has supported international comedians including Tommy Tiernan, Jeff Green and ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic and is a regular headline comedian on the Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend cruise ships.
In 2005 Gavin was a recipient of the Brian McCarthy Memorial Moosehead Award for his show As Seen on TV.
